Congres AWBZ, Wmo en Wet LIZ

Wat komt er per 1 januari 2015 terecht van de invoering van de decentralisatie van AWBZ naar Wmo en van de overgang van de AWBZ naar de Wet Langdurige Zorg?

Vele organisaties, instanties en instellingen bereiden zich voor op de grote decentralisatie van AWBZ naar Wmo en van de overgang van AWBZ naar de Wet Langdurige Intensieve Zorg, die op 1 januari 2015 van start gaan. Wij zijn benieuwd  hoe de overheid/gemeenten deze transitie gaan maken en wat er allemaal gaat veranderen. Op dit congres hopen wij wijzer te worden maar ook anderen te informeren hoe de gezondheidszorg volgens Vitaphone efficiënter en goedkoper ingericht kan worden.

Tijdens dit congres tonen wij, de Vitaphone oplossingen voor medicatietrouw ondersteuning en ketenzorg bij chronische aandoeningen.

NHV Congres 2014

Innovate Dementia: Transnational Symposium

Innovate Dementia

Een Vitaphone delegatie zal op 1 oktober het Innovatie symposium voor dementie in Eindhoven bijwonen. Tijdens de week van het geheugen, 30 september tot 4 oktober, wordt er in Eindhoven aandacht besteed aan aandoeningen die te maken hebben met het geheugen.

Voor het ondersteunen van het geheugen bij het medicatie gebruik heeft Vitaphone de PICO ontwikkeld. De PICO helpt bij het op tijd innemen van de medicijnen. Als de medicijnen worden vergeten kan de PICO dit melden aan naasten of zorg professionals.

Reviewed: ACRON Symposium Clinical Trials

Vitaphone presented its telemedicine solutions for clinical trials during the “ACRON Symposium Clinical trials in an Electronic World and the impact of technology on patients”. We did this through a live demonstration of our ECG monitoring and medication adherence systems.

We really turned some heads when dr. Erik Fransen (our CMO) recorded his own ECG and the audience received this ECG within seconds after recording on their smart phone!

Our medication adherence support system, the PICO, goes further than that; it tracks the intake of the study medication, and it supports the study patients in this. This ensures an optimal medication adherence and more legitimate study results.

One of the quotes heard, was that; “Clinical trials did not change for the last century and they really need to. With help of modern technical solutions all kind of trial processes can be optimized”. With Vitaphone’s ECGs recorders e.g. patients can record and send ECGs from their home, from all around the globe. No more traveling to the hospital for this. Our motto is “move data, not patients”.

We generally noticed that more and more people involved in clinical trials recognize the huge advantages telemedicine could bring for them. Therefore, we think we are on a verge of a digital revolution in the clinical trials world, and we are front-runners in that.
